Spectacles

Picture
In general, spectacles do not provide the best level of vision compared to specialised contact lenses as they do not completely neutralise the corneal distortion. However, in early keratoconus spectacles may be a reasonable option. In more more advanced keratoconus spectacles may be recommended as a backup to contact lenses.
If you have keratoconus, your optometrist can test you eyes for glasses and show you the level of vision they will provide.
